  1. Ontological: Within Mathematics, Structural Geometric Topology is the study of topological structures such as, but is not limited to, knots, links, tori/annuli/handlebodies and Mobius strips with geometric composition, as for example, such objects as points, lines, polygons and polyhedra.
  2. Cognitive: Within Mathematics the discipline that results from the intradisciplinary conceptual integration of Geometry and Topology that is itself structured and organized by the very objects it studies and that is defined by the product of the number of  objects whose structure and composition is being considered.
